Mark Oduori Lugendo is the Ag Country Director for Riders Kenya Program. He took over from Irene Sakura as from February 2018 in an acting capacity. He represents Riders Kenya in Riders International space together with other Riders Country Program Leaders. Mark and other managers in Riders Kenya have a duty to ensure the program runs efficiently and sustainably to advance the vision and mission of Riders in Kenya. Mark is a product of accounting profession where he trained as a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA K). He has extensive experience in management and financial management in particular spanning over 10 years and have vast knowledge in management of donor funded projects.
Mark was one of the first employees of the Riders Kenya program in 2007. Starting in the capacity of a part time accounts clerk, he has risen in the ranks to his appointments as finance manager for Riders Kenya, the position he has served diligently.
Over and above his responsibilities at Riders he has committed himself to community and society development, philanthropic activities like visiting the sick in the hospitals, visiting and assisting the aged in the old people’s homes, participating in clean-up exercises of public places among other activities. In his social time, he has an interest and love for sports particularly volleyball, soccer and athletics where he participated at competitive levels.
