Kayode Ajayi joined Riders for Health in April 1999 as the Technical Development Manager in Lagos, Nigeria. He studied Marine Engineering and the Maritime Academy of Nigeria, spending two years internship on the sea with the Nigerian National Shipping line before completing his course at the Southampton Institute, England. He has a Masterclass in Entrepreneurship and Analysis from the International School of Management.
In his capacity as TDM, Kayode developed the framework for the operations of Riders for Health in Nigeria and successfully managed 127 vehicles belonging to the World Health Organisation for the three years he was in that role. In 2002, he was transferred to the Support Office in the UK as the Deputy Operations Director, a position he held until September of 2007 when he became the Perfomance Director in charge of maintaining standards across the organisation. He is now the Country Director for Riders for Health in Nigeria.
Kayode is married with three beautiful children.
